Introducing our children's audiobook app - Whole World Kids!
LibraryCall Launches Whole World Kids Story App
October 7, 2025
LibraryCall, the company behind the award-winning dial-a-story service used by libraries and schools across the country, is excited to announce the launch of Whole World Kids, a new story app designed to bring high-quality audio stories to children ages 3–10.
Whole World Kids offers families instant access to a library of engaging stories in English and Spanish, including original tales and retellings of traditional stories from around the globe. Created by diverse authors and narrators, these stories spark imagination, build literacy skills, and celebrate cultural traditions.
The app is free to download and comes preloaded with 30 audio stories that are ready to stream or save to your device. Families can expand their story collection with three new stories added monthly for just $2.99 per month, $19.99 per year, or a one-time $39.99 lifetime plan, all with the flexibility to cancel anytime.
“Stories connect us to each other, to our imaginations, and to the wider world,” said Lori Ayre, founder of LibraryCall. “With Whole World Kids, we wanted to make the stories we’ve curated for libraries accessible to all families. Parents and caregivers can feel confident knowing that the content is thoughtfully created, culturally inclusive, and designed to delight children while strengthening their love of language and storytelling.”
Whole World Kids is now available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
“My daughter and I love using this app! She enjoys picking the stories she wants to hear, and we listen together during her quiet time. The app design is lovely, easy to use, and the stories are well organized into categories. Honestly, she could listen for hours!”
Samantha, Whole World Kids userWith its intuitive design, curated story collections, and bilingual content, Whole World Kids transforms screen time into story time, inspiring curiosity, empathy, and a lifelong love of reading.
